The Arts Council Tokyo offers a variety of programs for people who are not familiar with Japan’s traditional culture and performing arts, as well as for people from overseas. 

As part of this effort, the Arts Council Tokyo has created a video production of one of the most popular Noh plays, “Funa Benkei," with English subtitles, and is being released online under the title "Online Noh: Funa Benkei - Legendary Hero, Riding the Wave from Tokyo to the World.” 

This production was filmed from the audience seats and on the stage close to the performers, offering a unique and dynamic theater experience. 

The film will be available for free of charge until March 31st.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government is implementing emergency measures based on the Act on Special Measures for Pandemic Influenza and New Infections Diseases Preparedness and Response. 

The entire Tokyo Metropolitan area is now under a state of emergency until Sunday, February 7th. 

In order to stop the spread of infection during this period, it is necessary to reduce the movement of people. 

Residents of Tokyo are asked to refrain from non-essential outings, day or night. 

In addition, please take basic measures against infectious diseases, such as wearing masks, washing hands frequently, and avoiding the "Three Cs": closed, poorly ventilated spaces, crowded places and close contact with others.

東京都は、国の新型コロナウイルス対策の特別措置法に基づく緊急事態宣言を受け、東京都の緊急事態措置を実施しています。

期間は、2月7日（日）の24時までで、都内全域が対象です。

この緊急事態宣言の期間内に、感染拡大を食い止めるためには、徹底して人の流れを抑制することが必要です。

都民の皆さんは、昼夜を問わず、不要不急の外出を自粛してください。

また、マスクの着用、こまめな手洗い、密集・密閉・密着を避けるなど基本的な感染症対策を徹底してください。
