For the first Tokyo City Information of 2021, we’re going to tell you about a treatment facility for COVID-19 patients with mild symptoms. 

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government provides accommodation and treatment facilities for patients with mild or no symptoms who do not require immediate hospitalization with safe accommodation for recovery. 

Nurses are stationed at the facility to conduct daily health monitoring and a system is in place to provide health consultations as needed. 

In the unlikely event that a patient's condition worsens, they can seek medical attention or be hospitalized if necessary. 

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government has created a video introducing these residential treatment facilities in both English and Japanese.

東京都では、新型コロナウイルス感染症の軽症者などのための「宿泊療養施設」を用意しています。

この施設では、入院治療が必要のない軽症や無症状の方が、安心して療養生活を送ることができます。

看護師が常駐し、毎日の健康観察を行うとともに、随時、健康相談が受けられる体制を整備しています。

万が一、症状が悪化した場合には、必要に応じて医療機関を受診、または、入院することができます。

買い物、通院など、必要な場合を除き、是非とも外出は自粛してください。

今、感染が広がっています。無症状の方も多いです。

誰もが、「自分が感染しているかもしれない」「大切な人を感染で失うかもしれない」そのような危機感、意識で行動を決めてください。

これは、若い人もご高齢の方も同じです。
