Yokohama City is making preparations for vaccination against the new coronavirus.

Foreigners who are registered as residents of Yokohama City will be eligible for inoculation.

Mass vaccinations at public halls and sports centers are scheduled to start from the week of 17th May.

Individual notifications will be sent out from the end of April, in age order. 

The documents required for vaccination, including the vaccination coupon, will be enclosed with the notification.

Advance booking is necessary to receive the vaccination. 

Please refer to your individual notification to make your reservation. 

Bookings are due to be accepted from 3rd May.

Please note that government agencies and hospitals will not request money or personal information for vaccinations, so please beware of fraud. 

Vaccination is not compulsory and will only be performed with the consent of the recipient.

Calls will be handled in eight languages: Japanese, English, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Nepali, Spanish, and Portuguese.
