This week’s edition is on the ‘cycle share’ program.

There are 87 cycle ports (designated bicycle parks) in Shinagawa City, and you can hire a bicycle for 165 yen per 30 minutes.

The ‘cycle share’ program comes with insurance that covers any injuries you sustain in accidents, as well as damage compensation payable to others, so you can use the program worry-free.

Currently, wide-range cooperation is in place across the 11 cities of Shinagawa, Chiyoda, Chuo, Minato, Shinjuku, Bunkyo, Koto, Meguro, Ota, Shinuya and Nakano.

Within these 11 cities, you can borrow or return bikes at any cycle port.
