Public Service Announcement for Yokohama City
23rd February 2022
Vaccinations for people aged 65 or over started on 31st January.
Vaccination tickets will be sent out this month to those who received their second dose by 6th September.
They will be sent out sequentially to those who were vaccinated after that date too, as they reach the 6 month mark since their second vaccination.
For those aged 64 or under, vaccinations will begin on 28th February.
Vaccination tickets will be sent out by 14th March to those who received their second dose by 20th September last year.
Those who received their second dose after that date will be sent tickets sequentially, as they hit the 6 month mark since their vaccination.
Once you receive your vaccination ticket, you will be able to make a reservation.
Through the website, you can now check the availability of appointments at medical institutions and group vaccination sites up to 4 weeks in advance.
The vaccine used differs according to venue, but for the third jab, you can be vaccinated using a different vaccine to your first and second.
Please consider early vaccination wherever you can get an appointment, regardless of which vaccine is being used.
