Shinagawa Historical Museum was established in 1985 to preserve and utilise local materials and to enhance the culture of Shinagawa City residents.

The facility, which has been in operation for nearly 40 years, underwent renovations to address aging and opened anew on 21st April with the aim of conveying history and becoming a base for cultural tourism and exchange.

The admission fee is ¥100 for adults and ¥50 for elementary and junior high school students.

Opening hours are from 9am - 5pm.

The museum is closed on Mondays and at yearend and New Year.

昭和60年に、郷土資料の保存と活用、品川区民文化の向上を目的に設立された品川歴史館。

開館から40年近くが経過した施設の老朽化対応のほか、歴史を伝え、文化観光と交流の拠点となることをめざし、4月21日、リニューアルオープンしました。

観覧料は、一般は100円、小・中学生は50円です。

開館時間は、午前9時～午後5時まで、休館日は月曜日と年末年始です。
