Foreign children living in Shinagawa City who wish to enroll in the city’s municipal schools must fill out an application.

Eligible children are those born between 2nd April 2018 and 1st April 2019 for elementary/compulsory education schools, and those born between 2nd April 2012 and 1st April 2013 for junior high/compulsory education schools.

To enroll in a junior high/compulsory education school, certain conditions apply.

If you wish to enroll in a school but are not registered as a resident, please enquire.

The school choice application period is from 1st-31st October.

Health checkups will be carried out from November for children entering the first grade of elementary/compulsory education schools in April 2025.

品川区内にお住まいの外国籍のお子さんで、区立学校に入学を希望する方は、手続きが必要です｡

小学校・義務教育学校は、2018年4月2日から2019年4月1日に生まれた方、

中学校・義務教育学校は、2012年4月2日から2013年4月1日に生まれた方です。

中学校・義務教育学校に入学するためには、条件があります｡

住民登録のない方で入学を希望する方は、お問い合わせください。

学校選択希望申請受付期間は、10月1日から31日までです。

また、健康診断は、2025年4月に小学校・義務教育学校新1年生になるお子さんを対象に、11月から実施する予定です。
