The rabies prevention law requires that you register any dogs you own that are aged 91 days or older, and vaccinate them once a year.

If your pet is microchipped, it can be registered through the Ministry of the Environment's "Registration for Microchipping Dogs and Cats" website. If it isn’t, it can be registered at the city office.

For rabies shots, please use the group vaccination service. It is available at 15 designated animal hospitals in the city until Tuesday 30th April.

If you are not using the group vaccination service, please get your pet vaccinated at an animal hospital by Sunday 30th June, and submit an electronic application or apply for the issuance of a vaccination tag at the Public Hygiene Section counter of Shinagawa Public Health Center, or counters at Shinagawa Health Service Center, Ebara Health Service Center, or Regional Centers.

品川区からのお知らせです。

生後91日以上の犬は、一生に一度の飼い犬の登録と、「年1回の狂犬病予防注射」が法律で義務付けられています。

登録は、マイクロチップが入っている場合は、環境省の「犬と猫のマイクロチップ情報登録」サイトから、入っていない場合は、区の窓口で行うことができます。

狂犬病予防注射は、集合注射をご利用ください。

区内15カ所の指定動物病院で、4月30日(火曜日)まで実施しています。

集合注射を利用しない場合は、6月30日(日曜日)までに、動物病院で注射を受け、電子申請、または、品川区保健所生活衛生課、品川保健センター、荏原保健センター、各地域センターの窓口で注射済票の交付申請をしてください。
