Public Service Announcement for Yokohama City
15th January 2025
This week’s edition is on routine Covid19 vaccinations.
The routine Covid19 vaccinations that have been conducted since October will end on 28th February.
The vaccinations are available to people aged 65 or older, and people aged 60-64 with certain disabilities, at a cost of 3,000 yen out-of-pocket.
They are being administered at cooperating medical institutions in the city.
Yokohama City will not be sending out vaccination vouchers.
Reception and reservation procedures differ depending on the medical institution, so please be sure to check with the medical institution in advance.
The decision to vaccinate or not vaccinate is a personal one.
Please consult your family doctor or other healthcare provider to understand the effects and side effects of the vaccine, when considering vaccination to prepare for infectious disease outbreaks.
