On 26th March 1985, Shinagawa City declared itself a “Non-nuclear Peace Area”, with the heartfelt plea that nuclear weapons be abolished and permanent peace be established.

To mark the declaration, the Non-nuclear Peace Panel Exhibition will be held from 15th - 29th March at Shinagawa City Office Hon-chosha and Square Ebara.

The exhibition will feature materials detailing the results of last year's Hiroshima-Nagasaki Peace Envoy's mission, and photographs taken at the time of the atomic bombing.

品川区では、核兵器廃絶と恒久平和確立の願いを込めて、昭和60年3月26日に「非核平和都市品川宣言」を行いました。

これを記念し、3月15日から29日まで、品川区役所本庁舎とスクエア荏原で、非核平和パネル展を開催します。

昨年度の広島・長崎平和使節派遣の成果発表資料や、被爆当時の写真などの展示をします。
