Here's some weather information as of 7:45 pm Thursday August the 29th.

Heavy rain warnings are in effect for Setagaya Ward, Tokyo; Yokohama and Kawasaki Cities, Kanagawa Prefecture. Please be careful.

The same warning also has been issued for Setagaya, Nakano, and Nerima wards in Tokyo.

In addition, a heavy rain advisory has been issued for many other parts of the Tokyo Metropolitan area as well. 

Please be on alert for flooding in low-lying areas and rising river levels until the early hours of Friday, the 30th.

On the same note, transportation systems are being affected.

Tomorrow (Fri.), the Tokaido Shinkansen will be going through planned suspension all day between Mishima and Nagoya.

There is also a possibility of further planned suspensions or long delays from Saturday the 31st until Monday September the 2nd.
