It is now possible for those who have a My Number Card and a smartphone to be issued with a vaccination certificate (vaccine passport) using Japan’s dedicated "Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate App".

There are two types of vaccination certificate: one that is "for use overseas and within Japan" and one that is "for use within Japan", so please select the type that matches the intended use.

The following items are necessary for application:

(1) Your My Number Card 

(2) A smartphone (iOS 13.7 onwards or Android OS 8.0 onwards only)

(3) A valid passport is required only for the vaccination certificate that is "for use overseas and within Japan".

Calls will be handled in Japanese, English, Chinese and Korean.

Minato City Local History Museum utilizes historical buildings and operates as a base for in-depth learning and exchange about the nature, history, and culture of Minato City.

It is a facility where anyone can experience the appeal of Minato City, through planned exhibitions and special exhibitions in addition to the permanent exhibition, as well as through events, and the cafe and museum shop.

Opening hours are from 9am-5pm, except on Saturdays, when it stays open until 8pm.

The admission fee for the permanent exhibition is ¥300 for adults, and ¥100 for elementary, junior high and high school students. 

Admission is free for city residents aged 65 or above, city residents with disabilities plus one helper, and elementary, junior high and high school students who live or study in the city. Please bring the relevant proof.
