Minato City libraries lend out books, CDs, and DVDs.
They also host events such as story hours and movie hours.
Opening hours are from 9am to 8pm Monday-Saturday, and from 9am to 5pm on Sundays, national holidays and 28th December.
Opening hours at Takanawa Library Annex are from 9:30am-8pm, except on national holidays when it is closed.
In order to borrow books, CDs and DVDs, user registration is required. Anyone who lives, works, or studies in one of Tokyo’s 23 wards can register.
When doing so, you should take ID such as your driving license, health insurance card, worker or student ID, or resident card.
On 1st April 2022, Mita Library will be relocating to Fudanotsuji Square at 5-26-4 Shiba.

All city residents aged 18 or older who had the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at least 6 months ago, are eligible for vaccination with the third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Vaccination venues are Minato City Sports Center, International University of Health and Welfare - Tokyo Akasaka Campus, and Tokyo Dome.

Vaccination reservations for group vaccinations should be made by phone or via the internet, through the dedicated reservations website.

Available languages are Japanese, English, Chinese and Korean.
The reservations website is available in Japanese only.
For individual vaccinations, please enquire with the relevant medical institution.
