This week’s edition is on “Koganecho’s Autumn Bazaar”.

The full name of the event is “Koganecho’s Autumn Bazaar: Koganecho International Artist’s Network 2023 -  No one Knows Their Story”. It’s an art festival that is being held in Koganecho in Yokohama City’s Naka Ward.

The area has hosted the Koganecho Bazaar every autumn since 2008. It’s an art festival where domestic and international artists create works in residence and exhibit them in the everyday spaces of the town, such as under the elevated railway tracks of the Keikyu Line and in nearby buildings that have been renovated into studios.

This year's "Koganecho Autumn Bazaar" is based on two concepts: "Artists’ Network" and "Noone Knows Their Story". A total of 22 artists, from six cities in East and South-East Asia, the Tohoku area of Japan and artists working in Koganecho, are participating and exhibiting their works.

Koganecho’s Autumn Bazaar will take place until Sunday 29th October.

Opening hours are from 11am - 7pm, except on 16th and 23rd October, when it will be closed.

The venues will be studios under or near the elevated railway tracks between Hinode-cho and Kogane-cho stations on the Keikyu Line.

Admission tickets are ¥1000 and can be used as free passes that allow unlimited entry during the event. They come with coupons for services at local shops.
