The Autumn Satoyama Garden Festa 2022 is being held in Satoyama Garden, adjacent to Yokohama Zoo Zoorasia, between Saturday 17th September and Sunday 16th October. 

The highlight of the garden is the city’s largest flowerbed, at approximately 10,000㎡.

Entry is free. 

This autumn, the garden is celebrating holding its 10th Satoyama Garden Festa.

The theme is "Hills of Passion", and with the focus on red, the vibrant colors of 250,000 flowers of about 100 varieties, including Zinnias, Pentas, and Globe Amaranths are used to express the blazing passion of nature.

Masashi Mikami, the PR ambassador for Yokohama’s flowers and greenery,  designed and curates the “Welcome Garden”.

As the ‘garden of autumn foliage’, it expresses the hospitality of the countryside in autumn.

During the event period, there are food trucks that use agricultural produce from Yokohama City, and sales of flowers and vegetables are also planned for Local Production, Local Consumption Day.

As a joint project with Yokohama Zoo Zoorasia, a layered stamp rally is also being held.

If you collect four stamps at Satoyama Garden, you will receive a 50% discount on the weekday entry fee to Zoorasia.

Video of guided tours of Satoyama Garden by Masashi Mikami will be distributed in order, so that viewers can enjoy the garden from their homes too.
