This week’s edition is on COVID-19 vaccinations.

The 2023 Autumn start vaccinations will be conducted at medical institutions in the city from 20th September. Anyone over the age of six months who has completed their first vaccination and for whom at least three months has passed since their last vaccination is eligible. From this round of vaccinations, a new vaccine targeting the XBB subvariant of the Omicron variant will be used.

Vaccination vouchers for children aged 5 and over will be sent out in order to those who have received their third or subsequent vaccinations after 8th May.  If you have not been vaccinated, please use the vaccination voucher in your possession.

If you have lost or damaged your vaccination voucher, you can apply to have it reissued either online or through the ‘Yokohama COVID-19 Vaccine Call Center’. (Tel. 0120-045-070)

Reservations can be made online or by calling the ‘Yokohama COVID-19 Vaccine Reservation Call Center’.

Calls will be handled in eight languages: Japanese, English, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Nepali, Spanish, and Portuguese.
