Public Service Announcement for Yokohama City

During the month of September, Yokohama City’s group vaccinations are being held at three locations: the Center Minami venue, the Yokohama Station West Exit venue, and the Namiki Chuo venue.

The last day will be Saturday 24th.

The vaccine used will be the Moderna vaccine.

Vaccinations are still being conducted at individual medical institutions too, but, due to domestic supply related issues, difficulty persists in getting appointments for vaccinations using the Pfizer vaccine.

It will be easier to make an appointment at your desired date and time for a Moderna vaccination, even within the same medical institution, so please consider getting vaccinated early wherever you can make an appointment.

The government is also discussing starting booster vaccinations with the Omicron strain vaccine from mid-October.

The details will be decided later.

Information such as the vaccination venues in Yokohama City, the types of vaccines used at each venue, and the reservation start dates will be announced on the Koho Yokohama website as soon as the national policy is announced.
