Shinagawa Historical Museum is currently holding a special exhibition called ‘Expanded Shinagawa Seaside – From the Beginning of Land Reclamation until the Birth of the Yashio Neighborhood’. It will be on until 6th December. 

This exhibition introduces the history of Shinagawa City’s seaside area from the Edo Period to the present day, with a focus on the changing landscape resulting from land reclamation.

As a related event, a curator’s commentary on the exhibition will be held from 3pm-3:30pm on the following days: Saturday 17th October, Tuesday 17th November, and Sunday 6th December.

今、品川歴史館では、12月6日まで、特別展「広がる品川臨海部　新地開発から八潮地域の誕生まで」を開催しています。

江戸時代から現代に至る、埋め立てによる土地の変遷を中心に、品川区域臨海部の歴史を紹介しています。

また、関連イベントとして、10月17日（土曜日）、11月17日（火曜日）、12月6日（日曜日）の午後3時～3時30分まで、学芸員による展示解説を行います。
