Insurance cards for all those covered by national health insurance will be sent by registered mail to the heads of households in mid-September.

The cards will be valid from 1st October, until 30th September 2025.

For those turning 75, the cards will remain valid until the day before your 75th birthday. From the age of 75, you will be transitioned to the medical care system for people aged 75 and above.

The period of validity for foreign nationals varies depending on the period of stay. Those whose period of stay expires in September 2023 should apply for an extension of stay as soon as possible.

If you have enrolled in social insurance etc., you will need to submit notification of your withdrawal from the National Health Insurance.

品川区からのお知らせです。

国民健康保険加入者全員分の保険証を、世帯主宛に簡易書留で、9月中旬に郵送します。

有効期限は、10月1日～令和7年9月30日です。

75歳になる方の有効期限は、75歳の誕生日前日までです。75歳からは、後期高齢者医療制度に移行します。

外国籍の方の有効期限は、在留期間によって異なります。令和5年9月までに在留期間が切れる方は、早めに在留更新手続きをしてください。

なお、社会保険などに加入した場合は、国民健康保険の脱退の届け出が必要です。
