Shinagawa City will provide low income child-rearing households with the Living Support Special Benefit.

Those eligible for the payment are single-parent families who are raising/caring for children who are under the age of 18 or who have turned 18 but have yet to reach the 31st March following their 18th birthday.

Such families must also fulfill one of the following criteria to be eligible:

They have received the child-rearing allowance for April 2022

They have received a public pension etc., and provision of the child-rearing allowance for April 2022 will be completely suspended

They receive the same level of income as those who receive child-rearing allowances, for reasons such as a sudden drop in income due to the impact of Covid19.

The benefit amount per child is ¥50,000.

子育て世帯に生活支援特別給付金を支給します。

対象者は、18歳に達する日以後の最初の3月31日までの児童を監護・養育するひとり親家庭のうち、次のいずれかに該当する方です。

令和4年4月分の児童扶養手当が支給された方

公的年金等を受給しており、令和4年4月分の児童扶養手当の支給が全額停止される方

新型コロナウイルスの影響を受けて家計が急変するなど、収入が児童扶養手当を受給している方と同じ水準になる方です。

給付額は、児童1人あたり5万円です。
