From 1st July 2023, Shinagawa City will partially subsidize the cost of shingles vaccinations.

Those eligible are residents of Shinagawa City who are 50 years of age or older on the day of vaccination.

Vaccination strengthens immunity against shingles and is expected to prevent the onset of the disease or reduce its severity.

In order to receive the subsidy, you will need a "Shingles pre-vaccination screening questionnaire" issued by Shinagawa City.

Please contact the city if you would like to be vaccinated.

品川区では、令和5年7月1日から、帯状疱疹ワクチンの接種費用を、一部助成します。

対象者は、接種日時点で、50歳以上の品川区民です。

帯状疱疹は、ワクチン接種により免疫が強化され、発症を予防、または、軽症に抑える効果が期待されます。

助成を受けるには、品川区が発行する「帯状疱疹ワクチン予防接種予診票」が必要です。
