The city is seeking applicants for City Residents’ Traffic Accident Insurance.

City Residents’ Traffic Accident Insurance is an insurance system where the city becomes the insurance contractor, allowing residents to purchase an insurance plan with low premiums.

Please consider taking out a policy so you are prepared…just in case.

Those eligible are people who are living, working or studying in Shinagawa City as of 1st July 2023.

The application period starts on 1st May.

From 1st April, making an effort to wear a cycling helmet became compulsory for all cyclists.

In order to reduce injuries from traffic accidents, please do your utmost to ensure that adults, as well as children, are wearing cycling helmets.

区民交通傷害保険の加入者を募集します。

区民交通傷害保険とは、区が保険契約者となり、少額の保険料で加入することができる保険です。

万が一に備えるため、加入をご検討ください。

令和5年7月1日時点で、品川区内に在住、在勤、および在学の方が加入できます。

5月1日より、申し込みを開始します。

保険内容など詳しくは、品川区ホームページをご確認ください。

また、4月1日より、すべての自転車利用者のヘルメット着用が、努力義務化されました。

交通事故による被害を軽減するため、子どもはもちろん、大人もヘルメットを着用するよう努めましょう。
