This week’s edition is on ‘The 33rd Traditional Skills and Flavours / Shinagawa Exhibition’.

Craftspeople belonging to Shinagawa City's Traditional Crafts Preservation Society will demonstrate their arts in a row of booths showcasing colourful Edo-kiriko glass carving, Japanese dressmaking, and plant-dyed hand-woven textiles etc.

A variety of events will be held, as well as hands-on classes taught by the craftspeople, so please visit the exhibition.

It will be held on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th January, from 10am - 4pm.

The venue will be the Event Hall on the 7th Floor of Curian.

Demonstration booths will feature Buddhist statue sculpting, antique repair, Edo Kiriko, Japanese dressmaking, and Japanese embroidery, amongst others.

Food will also be sold.

Eating and drinking inside the venue will be possible from this exhibition onwards.

品川区から、「第33回　伝統の技と味／しながわ展」についてのお知らせです。

色鮮やかな江戸切子、和裁、草木染手機織物など、品川区伝統工芸保存会の職人による実演ブースが並びます。

また、職人の指導によるふれあい教室のほか、さまざまなイベントを開催する予定ですので、ぜひご来場ください。

日時は、1月27日(土曜日)と28日(日曜日)午前10時～午後4時までです。

会場は、きゅりあん 7階 イベントホールです。

実演ブースは、仏像彫刻、骨董修理、江戸切子、和裁、日本刺繍などです。

食べ物の販売も行います。

なお、今回より会場内での飲食が可能になりました。
