Masafumi Watanabe
BEDWIN & THE HEARTBREAKERS ディレクター
1971年生まれ東京都出身。

10代からモデル活動を始め、様々なファッ _ションやカルチャーに触れる。武蔵野美術大学に入学し、遊びと旅行を重ねながらアートを学ぶ。大学卒業後、渡英しそこでファッションとして撮られる側から作り手側への興味を持ち帰国後アパレルブランドの立ち上げに参加。そこでの経験を活かし、大人のストリートを軸とした自身のブランドを2003年に設立。

2020年、MIYASHITA PARK に東京ブランドとスニーカーブランドを中心に構成されたセレクトショップ『DAYZ』をオープン。

Directer Profile
Masafumi Watanabe was born in 1971 in Tokyo, Japan. After several years of experience as a Fashion Model in his teens and with an Art School degree from Musashino Art University in his pocket, he then moved to London, England.

While in England he became interested in the creative side of fashion and when he returned to Japan, he participated in the launch of apparel brands. Taking advantage of his experience, Masafumi became more involved in the Adult street fashion industry and eventually founded BEDWIN in 2003.

In 2020 Masafumi opened DAYZ, a select shop composed of Tokyo and sneaker brands, in MIYASHITA PARK.
